Studio Three Sixty's Sauna Theatre Debuts at Edinburgh Fringe
During the Edinburgh Fringe festival, Studio Three Sixty introduced a unique sauna that also serves as a theatre at Summerhall Arts, crafted by Lucy Osborne, co-creative director of Sauna Sessions Arts Club. This sauna, which accommodates 82 individuals, stands as the UK's first dedicated sauna arts venue and is the largest of its kind, featuring Ayous timber seating and three substantial sauna stoves. The programming includes Aufguss wellness rituals and dance-oriented "rave" events. Facilities include showers, changing areas, lockers, and a cold plunge pool. Designed by Osborne and James Grieve, it incorporates theatre lighting and is designed for mobility.
