Studio Mango's Four Walls Pavilion Nears Completion in Chennai

London-based Studio Mango has designed the Four Walls Pavilion, a lakeside structure in a coastal area south of Chennai, India. The 130-square-meter building marks the endpoint of a linear park within the Sanctuary by Aarth residential development, for which the firm also designed the villas. Completed in 2026, the pavilion is the first built element of the masterplan. The client requested a simple yet versatile building: a gallery space to display villa designs and a larger area for gatherings. The pavilion frames visitors' first encounter with the lake around which the development is organized. Lead architects Utsav Jain and Fergus Davis oversaw the project, with landscape architecture by Idea Design and general contracting by Sanctuary by Aarth. Photographs were taken by Geomorph Studio.
