Studio Giftig Completes Monumental Surrealist Mural at Thomas Eindhoven Restaurant

In August 2018, the artist duo Studio Giftig completed an extensive mural project at the Thomas Eindhoven restaurant in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The work involved creating a large-scale surrealistic scene covering approximately 600 square meters across all walls and the ceiling of the establishment. The artists, Niels van Swaemen and Kaspar van Leek, used spray cans to execute the detailed realistic painting over several weeks. The project required approval from the local monuments committee, which initially expressed reservations but ultimately granted permission after reviewing plans.
