The Enterprise Research Campus (ERC) in Boston's Allston neighborhood is a 14-acre mixed-use development that has just completed its first phase, designed by Studio Gang and Henning Larsen. This complex features two buildings, totaling 47,380 square meters, and officially opened its doors in 2026 to bolster the scientific community in Greater Boston. Studio Gang's One Milestone West is a seven-story lab and office building with a clear façade aimed at reducing bird strikes and using eco-friendly materials. Henning Larsen's One Milestone East boasts a design inspired by Harvard Business School's architecture and achieves a 40% drop in energy consumption. The campus also showcases artworks from artists like Ai Weiwei and Mungo Thomson, alongside The Atlas hotel, the David Rubenstein Treehouse, and Verra apartments. The project kicked off in 2019 with a strategic framework and broke ground in 2023.
