The bamboo roof is prefabricated in light steel and sourced locally. The project references ancient cave sites and aims to balance conservation with visitor and resident use. The pavilion's concrete mix and texture respond to nearby weathered caves. Planters atop pillars allow native climbing plants to grow, changing the silhouette over time.
