Studio 10 Designs Leaf Canopy Pavilion on Shenzhen Bay Park

Studio 10 has completed a 48-square-meter retail pavilion on a grassy slope along the coast of Shenzhen Bay Park, one of the city's most popular public parks. The project, titled 'Una marquesina de hojas junto al mar' (A Leaf Canopy by the Sea), is designed as a light intervention that balances public space, park retail, and ecological conservation. The site is home to abundant wildlife and serves as a resting area for Siberian migratory birds flying south. The design team, led by Shi Zhou, includes Chunhui Mo, Jingqi Qu, Ziqi Wang, Jiaxiao Bao, Jingwei Zhang, and Junxian Yu. Structural design consulting was provided by Tao Qu, and curtain wall consulting by Shenzhen Sigma Curtain Wall Design Consulting Co., Ltd. The project was organized by the Urban Management and Law Enforcement Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality, with the Shenzhen Park Management Center as host unit, and Huacai Shengshi (Shenzhen) Culture and Technology Co., Ltd. as planning and execution unit. The curator is Xiaodu Liu, with exhibition execution by LXD Studio, and brand operation and store interior/VM by Beneunder.
