Stripes Storage System by Jehs + Laub for Schönbuch Gets 2026 Update

German furniture brand Schönbuch and designers Jehs + Laub have updated their Stripes storage system for 2026, introducing new finishes, accent colours, and rounded end units. The modular system, part of Schönbuch's catalogue for nearly 20 years, is recognizable by its painted, handle-free door fronts with grip recesses that create a linear, striped appearance. The 2026 updates include the option to finish these grip recesses in new wood veneers or accent colours, as well as five oak veneer and three mineral stone options for sideboard tops, alongside existing painted panels. The new rounded end units are described by Jehs + Laub as making the design "friendlier and smoother." The system can be used to create sideboards, wall units, and other storage types, suitable for entrance areas, bedrooms, or offices.
