Street Art Guide to Ryazan: Murals, Craft, and Kremlin in Two Days

Located 200 kilometers southeast of Moscow, Ryazan is home to vibrant street art spearheaded by Alexander Demkin (Dyoma21) and Andrey Kalugin. Their murals, which showcase portraits and local craftsmanship, embellish several structures, such as a former power station and a business center. The BRICS Skate Cup, taking place from 27–30 August 2026, drew participants from around the globe, with Argentina's Matías Dell Olio claiming victory in the street skateboarding event. Notable artworks by Egor Bakhtov and Denis Simachev were also on display. A two-day itinerary features significant murals, including Demkin's 'Fragility' and 'Inside the Light,' as well as Kalugin's 'Appearance as History,' alongside local crafts at the Residence of Traditions and dining spots like Gorodok and Park restaurant. A visit to the Ryazan Theatre of Ballet is also recommended.
