Storey Gallery Opens on New York's Lower East Side with 'ALIVE AT THE END OF THE WORLD'

exhibition · 2026-09-22

In September 2023, Nathan Storey established Storey Gallery at 1 Rivington Street in New York's Lower East Side. His mission is to foster long-term support for artists and link historical narratives to contemporary issues. With a decade of experience in the neighborhood, Storey has collaborated with Invisible-Exports, On Stellar Rays, and Simon Preston, and has curated exhibitions such as Pacifico Silano's 'After Silence' in 2018. The gallery's opening show, 'ALIVE AT THE END OF THE WORLD,' showcases ten artists and includes works spanning from 1975 to 2026, focusing on memory, intimacy, and survival, while highlighting queer artists and cultural contributions. Storey Gallery operates from Wednesday to Saturday, 12-6 pm.
