Sterling Ruby's Floral Elegy Opens at Gagosian Paris
Gagosian is set to unveil TILL DEATH DO US PART, a fresh exhibition featuring the works of Sterling Ruby, on June 12 at its gallery located on rue de Castiglione in Paris. This showcase includes collages and cast bronze sculptures that further Ruby's investigation into flowers as both material and symbolic subjects. Inspired by his growing studio garden in Vernon, California, and experiences in the Eastern Sierras, the installation immerses attendees in a tribute to flora. Through the gallery's storefront, prints from the GHOSTS series (2026) are displayed, characterized by deep blue lines and a textured appearance akin to swaying pastures. Additionally, several unique cast bronze sculptures from the Bound Flowers. Couple. (2025–) series are present in the exhibition.
