Stefan Scholten and Manuela Rotta launch Matera collectible design brand at Salone del Mobile 2026

At Salone del Mobile during Milan design week, designer Stefan Scholten and Manuela Rotta, founder of Stone Made Italy, will introduce Matera, a new collectible design brand. The first collection showcases stone creations from various designers, such as Ronan Bouroullec, Joep van Lieshout, Job Smeets, Clara von Zweigbergk, Teruhiro Yanagihara, Julie Richoz, Richard Hutten, Maho Motoyama, and Bernard Heesen. This collection will be revealed at Salone Raritas, the inaugural collectible design fair of the tradeshow. Each piece is restricted to a maximum dimension of 55 centimeters, allowing for both functional and decorative designs. The brand combines Scholten's extensive design experience with Rotta's expertise in the stone sector. Salone del Mobile is scheduled from 21 to 26 April 2026 at Fiera Milano in Rho, Milan, Italy.
