Stalker of Classic FM Presenters Receives Hospital Order After Years of Harassment

Peter Windsor, a 61-year-old man from Birmingham, has been placed under a hospital order after being convicted of stalking two Classic FM presenters, Myleene Klass and Katie Breathwick. The sentencing occurred at Coventry Crown Court, where Judge Tom Rochford noted Windsor's schizophrenia as a primary cause of his actions, which spanned from 2020 to 2024. Windsor sent numerous unwanted items to the women at Classic FM's London studios, including an air pistol, handcuffs, and letters, causing significant psychological distress. He was found guilty by unanimous verdict in October 2023 and has been in custody since September 2024. The court imposed a restraining order to protect the victims, and Windsor will remain hospitalized until deemed safe for release.
