Spaziu Davia Franceschini: Open-Air Theater and Cultural Center in Corbara

In Corbara, France, the Spaziu Davia Franceschini project transforms a sensitive site opposite the Church of the Annunciation into an open-air theater and cultural center. Designed by A FABRiCA architettura and CGZ Architecture, the 450 m² project, set for 2026, prioritizes subtlety over assertion, extending the terrain and revealing the slope rather than adding an architectural object. The team includes landscape architect STD Paysage, environmental sustainability consultant DOMENE, structural engineer INGENIA, electrical engineer EKIUM, and acoustics consultant Atelier Rouch. Curated by Hadir Al Koshta, the project aims to create continuity with the ancient village and the symbolic presence of the church, offering a terraced space with views of the Balagne landscape.
