Sopranos Writers List Shelter Island Home for $6.5M

Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess, Emmy-winning writers for The Sopranos and Blue Bloods, have listed their Shelter Island compound for $6.5 million with Stacey Cohen at the Agency Hamptons. The property, originally built in 1888 and renovated in 1988 by architect Lee Skolnick and design firm Heiberg Cummings, was once owned by art critic Robert Hughes. The two-acre estate includes a main residence with four bedrooms and five bathrooms, a barn with a two-car garage, gym, and artist studio, plus a 60-foot saltwater pool with cabana and pool house. Landscaped gardens by Jeff Mendoza feature rose bushes, hydrangeas, dogwood trees, and fruit trees. The pool house has its own kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom, serving as a guest house.
