Solange Unveils Copper Sculptures on the High Line for Google Chrome's Unfinished Projects
Solange, the sibling of Beyoncé, has unveiled a public art installation on the High Line in New York as part of Google Chrome's exhibition, Unfinished Projects. This artwork showcases sculptures crafted from copper, plywood, and stainless steel, drawing inspiration from Fred Eversley and initially designed for the 58th La Biennale di Venezia in 2019. The exhibition, which runs until September 27, also features ballet flats by PinkPantheress and a chess set by Joe Burrow. On September 21, President Trump held a meeting with NYC mayor Zohran Mamdani regarding housing plans above Sunnyside Yard, without any federal funding promised. Additionally, a fire on September 22 impacted La Querola d'Ordino in Andorra, created by Jean Nouvel, but no injuries were reported. Billy Fleming presented his book at The Architectural League of New York.
