Solange Knowles to Debut Large-Scale Sculpture on New York's High Line

exhibition · 2026-09-21

Solange Knowles is set to reveal a massive sculpture on the High Line in New York as part of the "Unfinished Projects" initiative, which is backed by Google and Google Chrome. This event will happen in the Chelsea Market Passage from September 24 to 27. In addition to Solange's sculpture, there will be ballet flats by PinkPantheress and a custom chess set from NFL star Joe Burrow. The sculpture is inspired by a sketch Knowles made seven years ago, with Chrome's help in its development and research. The piece is designed to invite contemplation on electrical conductivity and the evolution of materials. Solange has also showcased her art at venues like the Guggenheim and the Venice Biennale.
