Softlab and Moment Factory install immersive artworks at Edge NYC viewpoint
At Hudson Yards, the Edge NYC sky deck, which stands at 350 meters, showcases seven immersive installations crafted by design firms Softlab and Moment Factory. This sky deck, the tallest indoor-outdoor one in the Western Hemisphere, is located on the 100th floor of the 30 Hudson Yards skyscraper designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox. Among the installations are Pulse by Softlab, featuring 450 globes that shift colors, and Moment Factory's Kaleidoscope, touted as "New York's largest kaleidoscope." Additional exhibits include Reflections, Crystal Cave, Skyrise, and Prism. The project was managed by experience agency Journey, drawing inspiration from the architecture of Edge. The site also houses the renovated restaurant Peak and is close to attractions like Heatherwick Studio's Vessel and The Shed venue.
