Sofia Testino Unveils Uniforms for Imaginary Workforce in New Collection
Sofia Testino, the niece of famous photographer Mario Testino and daughter of Giovanni Testino from Art Partner, has launched a new clothing line called 'Sofia Testino Uniforms,' which reinterprets workwear for fictional professions. This collection features outfits for various roles, including pest controllers, locksmiths, nurses, flight attendants, seamstresses, postal workers, farmers, concierges, and scientists. After moving from London to New York nine months ago, she found inspiration in the clothing of people she encountered, a passion that dates back to her childhood. Her 2025 graduate project at Central Saint Martins involved crafting stories from six strangers' diaries bought on eBay. The collection includes playful details like striped pockets and funnel collars, reflecting her 'militant with authority' style. Sofia has worked with brands like Dior, Fendi, and Prada, and the collection is presented through a photo series by Morgan Maher.
