Slime, llim, llot i fang: Bòlit Mentor 2025-2026 Exhibition Closes with Organic Matter Focus

Established in 2012, the Bòlit Mentor program bridges the gap between education and artistic expression by integrating visual artists into secondary schools. The 2025-2026 edition, curated by Núria Nia, will culminate in the exhibition titled 'Slime, llim, llot i fang' at the Museu d’Història de Girona, which will be open until June 21. Artists featured in this exhibition include Neus Frigola Bagué, Agustín Ortiz Herrera, and Martina Rogers Manzano. The title reflects on both organic and synthetic materials, delving into themes of transformation and decay. Each artwork engages with the climate and the audience, presenting an ongoing narrative. Rogers Manzano collaborated with students from Institut Josep Brugulat, Ortiz Herrera with Institut Santiago Sobrequés i Vidal, and Frigola Bagué with Institut Carles Rahola, encouraging exploration and sensory awareness while questioning the essence and role of art.
