Sliman Mansour, a legendary Palestinian artist known for his powerful depictions of Palestinian identity and resistance, has died at the age of 79. He gained fame in the 1970s by creating art that highlighted Palestinian culture during times of erasure and displacement, incorporating symbols like the Dome of the Rock, olive trees, and Jaffa oranges.
