Skulptur Projekte Münster 2027 unveils first five artists and sites
The fifth installment of Skulptur Projekte Münster is scheduled from June 13 to October 3, 2027, under the guidance of Ivet Ćurlin, Nataša Ilić, and Sabina Sabolović from the curatorial group What, How & for Whom (WHW), making it the inaugural edition led by women. Established in 1977 by Klaus Bußmann and Kasper König, who passed away in 2024, previous editions were overseen by König. The first five artists revealed include Iza Tarasewicz at Gut Kinderhaus, Hew Locke at Haus der Niederlande, Selma Selman at Hörster Friedhof, Róza El-Hassan at the Botanical Garden, and Oscar Murillo at York-Kaserne. WHW's focus will be on themes of community, participation, and openness, with a pre-programme in partnership with local organizations.
