other · 2026-09-21

Škoda has rolled out three new electric models: the Elroq, Epiq, and Peaq, rounding out their lineup of battery-electric SUVs. The Elroq, a mid-sized SUV, features Škoda's 'Modern Solid' design and is based on the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform. It offers three battery options: a 61kWh for 280 miles, an 84kWh for 372 miles, and a sporty vRS version with all-wheel drive. The Epiq, available with a 52kWh battery for 273 miles or a 37kWh for 192 miles, takes on competitors like the Renault 4. The Peaq, starting at £51,980, seats seven and offers two battery sizes—63kWh and 91kWh—providing ranges of 279, 397, and 379 miles. CEO Klaus Zellmer leads Škoda, which is Europe’s fourth-best-selling EV brand, with 30,000 Epiq pre-orders and 10,000 for the Peaq. The Peaq stands out as the only seven-seater BEV, alongside the ID. Buzz, with a towing capacity of two tonnes. Pricing starts at £26,200 for the Epiq and £33,970 for the Elroq.
