Skims and Ludovic de Saint Sernin Announce Limited-Edition Capsule Collection for October 1

Kim Kardashian's shapewear label Skims is partnering with designer Ludovic de Saint Sernin on a limited-edition capsule collection, Skims x Ludovic de Saint Sernin, releasing October 1. The collaboration merges Skims' signature shapewear and tonal shades with de Saint Sernin's lacy, body-conscious aesthetic. Kardashian founded Skims in 2019; de Saint Sernin first met her while interning at Balmain during her mid-2010s #BalmainArmy era under then-creative director Olivier Rousteing, and later did a fitting at her Calabasas home. The pair announced the project today, describing an ongoing conversation about working together as part of their "love language." The collection draws on '90s supermodel style and Kardashian's personal archive of looks, yielding bodycon dresses, pants, long and mini dresses, and pencil skirts in sheer fabrics with intricate lace-up detailing. A campaign shot by Steven Klein, featuring both Kardashian and de Saint Sernin, will be released soon. The capsule will be sold exclusively at Skims.com and at Skims flagship stores in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Dubai; prices have not been announced. It follows last year's buzzy NikeSkims collection. De Saint Sernin, who has built his own namesake line, called the collaboration a dream come true, recalling watching Keeping Up while interning at Balmain.
