Six Dark Design Objects for Halloween, From Murano Glass to Glow-in-the-Dark Rings
As Halloween approaches, six unique accessories showcase a darker aesthetic influenced by Gothic themes. The 'Julia' round tumbler by Italian designer Giberto is crafted from Murano glass, featuring a dark ruby edge and a teardrop design that mimics blood. Founded by Karen Feldman in 1998, Artěl presents items from its 'Cabinet of Curiosities,' including a hand-engraved skull tumbler and a bat tumbler. Hotlips' 'Snake' ring, made of recycled sterling silver, comes in a glow-in-the-dark version with a serpent and a cherry red variant adorned with Dracula teeth. Venini's 'Fantasmino' LED lamp echoes its 1948 'Fazzoletto' vase, utilizing a glass-making technique from the 15th century. This collection was featured in Wallpaper, authored by Tianna Williams.
