SINCLAIR COLLECTIVE designs experiential nightclub Midline Miami in Wynwood

architecture-design · 2026-07-20

Midline Miami, a new nightclub by Eric Fuller and Jeremy Waks of BLNK CNVS, opened in Wynwood. Designed by one-year-old New York studio SINCLAIR COLLECTIVE, the venue uses darkness as a storytelling tool. Co-director Craig Sinclair, a Syracuse Architecture instructor, noted that interior finishes must function differently in low light. Up to 1,200 guests occupy two stories of a former industrial space renovated with Moyano Productions. Influences include the Light and Space movement and Olafur Eliasson, under whom Sinclair trained. The design prioritizes mood over objects, using light to render presence in darkness.
