Simon Laveuve's 1/35-Scale Miniature Dwellings Anchor in Rock at Loo & Lou Gallery
Simon Laveuve's exhibition titled Ancré dans la roche (Anchored in Rock) is set to debut on November 12 and will be on display until December 22 at the Loo & Lou Gallery in Paris. This showcase includes 1/35-scale miniature homes perched on stilts and boulders, crafted from mixed media and adorned with miniature chairs, produce boxes, and fishing equipment. Although no figures are visible, traces of activity imply recent human presence. The exhibition’s title encapsulates Laveuve's exploration of unstable living conditions amid socio-political and economic challenges. Featured works include "Eau-delà Du Gouffre / IDF2068" (2026), "Le Graveur D'Épitaphe / Les Étoiles" (2026), "L'Observateur / IDF2068" (2026), "L'Usine Des Veilleurs / IDF2068" (2026), and "Demain Sera Comme Hier / IDF2068" (2026).
