ShiftCam Launches ProRig Camera System for iPhone With Apple's Input
On October 23, ShiftCam Gear will launch ProRig, its tenth Kickstarter campaign, which is a comprehensive camera system designed for the iPhone. This innovative product has been created in collaboration with Apple, who provided insights throughout the development process. Such partnerships are uncommon, as Apple typically refrains from collaborating with external manufacturers. ProRig retains Apple's aesthetic while boosting the iPhone's creative potential, supporting various ShiftCam accessories like cases, lenses, filters, lights, and microphones. Users can choose from lightweight configurations to extensive production setups. Although pricing details are yet to be revealed, ShiftCam's V.Series lenses begin at $199, while the X.Series starts at $269. ProRig intends to utilize the advanced camera technology found in the iPhone 18 Pro series.
