Sheep Shelter by SAA Arquitectura + Territorio in Patagonia

SAA Arquitectura + Territorio has designed El Refugio de la Oveja, a 50 m² shelter in Villa Cerro Castillo, Chilean Patagonia. Led by architect Sergio Araneda Maiz, with technical team Sebastian Guerrero and general construction by Hugo Hidd, the project is curated by Valentina Díaz. The shelter, categorized as a cabin and lodge, uses materials from WoodArch and Comercial Arratia. Scheduled for completion in 2026, the design focuses on creating a precise, contained interior that offers refuge against the vast, isolated Patagonian landscape and its climatic variations.
