Sharjah Architecture Triennial 2026 Announces 32 Participants
The Sharjah Architecture Triennial is set to return for its third edition, called 'Architecture Otherwise: Building Civic Infrastructure for Collective Futures.' It will feature 32 participants and is curated by Vyjayanthi Rao, with Tau Tavengwa assisting. This exciting event will run from November 14, 2026, to April 14, 2027. The focus will be on how architecture can enhance the social, cultural, and political frameworks within communities. Notable contributors include ABARI, Another Empty House, Aslıhan Demirtaş, and Ali Cindoruk, alongside collaborative efforts like Megawra Built Environment Collective working with RIWAQ and the People's Architecture Office.
