Shadia Sabagh's Mirror Sculpture Launches on Kickstarter

Miami-based artist and creative director Shadia Sabagh has launched Mirror, a sculptural object now crowdfunding on Kickstarter through September 22, 2026. The piece, hand-cast in sky-blue polyresin, features a 16-point radial frame and measures 17.71 by 10.30 by 2.36 inches. Produced in a limited edition of 2,000, each Mirror includes 120 digital self-worth affirmation cards. The project stems from Sabagh's daily practice of journaling and affirmations, aiming to serve as a visual reminder of self-love. Mirror marks her first fully self-authored campaign, developed over three years of self-taught resin work. The Kickstarter campaign, running from August 24 to September 22, 2026, seeks $28,200, with backing tiers at $550 and $575 (signed), and estimated delivery in December 2026. Mirror will also be exhibited at The Other Art Fair in Los Angeles, September 24–27, at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. Sabagh, who runs Shadia Sabagh Studio and Studio 888 by SS, has collaborated with brands including YSL Beauty, Carolina Herrera, L'Oréal, NYX, Bacardi, CeraVe, New Balance, and Airbnb. Her next plans include launching Studio 888 as a platform for brand work and journal editions, with another Kickstarter scheduled for November.
