Serpentine Opens Evolving Archive of Art and Advanced Technologies
From July 20 to September 6, 2026, Serpentine will host an exhibition called processing... at Serpentine South’s Education Space, which is free for everyone. This event transforms the gallery into an interactive space for archiving, listening, and research, featuring a mix of photographs, publications, audio recordings, and digital projects. It showcases Serpentine’s engagement with AI, blockchain, and digital culture through works like Cécile B Evans’ AGNES (2014) and Danielle Braithwaite-Shirley’s The Delusion (2025). Visitors can also explore the Future Art Ecosystems digital platform and Braithwaite-Shirley’s interactive piece, I DIDN’T REALISE YOU THOUGHT LIKE THAT (2026). Supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, this exhibition is part of Activating Serpentine’s Archive, led by Ben Vickers.
