Serge Najjar: First Photographer Exhibited at Galerie Lahumière, Paris
From 17 October to 19 December 2026, Galerie Lahumière in Paris will host the inaugural solo exhibition of photographer Serge Najjar, marking a first for the gallery. Born in Beirut in 1973, Najjar was influenced by his father Ibrahim Najjar's geometric abstraction collection. After becoming a lawyer, he took up photography at the age of 37 and won the Photomed prize in 2014. His notable works include a solo exhibition at Galerie Tanit in 2016 and a featured image for the iPad Pro launch by Apple in 2017. His approach avoids staging or retouching, capturing construction sites in Lebanon while highlighting lines and light. The opening reception is scheduled for 17 October from 6pm to 8pm. The gallery, located at 70 rue des Tournelles, 75003 Paris, is open Tuesday to Saturday from 2pm to 7pm, with free entry.
