exhibition · 2026-10-14

The annual Sculpture by the Sea exhibition is currently taking place along a 1.25-mile stretch of Bondi Beach in Sydney, continuing until November 2, 2026. This free outdoor event showcases numerous sculptures created by international artists, featuring a range of styles from geometric abstraction to representational art. Notable pieces from 2026 include Emma Anna's "DREAM_N," a massive Scrabble letter rack; Andre Braun's "Surface Breach," illustrating a hand emerging from the ground; and Tim Storrier AM's "Wayfarer." Other works include David Doyle's "Kaaku-Kaakulinya Eternal Sentinels," Ulan & Rachel's "The Guardians," David Horton's "Peace," Nenad Milovanovin's "Support IV," Keizo Ushio's "Oushi Zokei – Enmusubi II," and Harrie Fasher's "Unveiling the Edges of the Sky." This year's exhibition follows a tragic terrorist attack in December 2025 at Bondi Beach, where a shooting during a Hanukkah celebration resulted in the deaths of 15 individuals. It is recognized as the largest free sculpture exhibition in the world.
