Schwartz and Architecture has completed a 730-square-foot (68-square-meter) cabin in Bodega Bay, California, a project that spanned nearly nine years. The client, Qing, commissioned the architects to build a waterside retreat in the foggy coastal town where Alfred Hitchcock filmed 'The Birds' in 1963. Throughout the process, Qing shared poems and parables, including writings titled 'The Chronicles of the Old Foolish Lady Who Builds a House by the Sea.'
