Scenic Architecture Office Completes 62 m² Micro-Regeneration Nodes on Ouyang Road, Shanghai
In Shanghai's Hongkou District, the Ouyang Road Sub-district Office has spearheaded a comprehensive renewal initiative featuring three micro-renovation sites crafted by Scenic Architecture Office. These include the 62 m² Changshou Nursing Home and the Oh-yeah Pocket Park. The Shanghai Municipal Engineering Design Institute (Group) Co., Ltd. (SMEDI) oversaw territorial planning and acted as the EPC general contractor, while Scenic Architecture Office offered urban and architectural consulting and detailed design for the nodes. Key team members included SGIDI Engineering Consulting (Group) Co., Ltd. for structural advice, Growdesign Co. Ltd. for landscaping, and SMEDI (Wild Grass Hut) for interior work. Led by principal architect Zhu Xiaofeng, with project manager Zhuang Xinjia and architects Su Kaiqiang, Sun Xueyi, and Xie Jiachen, the project aims for completion in 2026. Curated by 韩爽 - HAN Shuang, it replaces extensive demolition with targeted interventions to enhance neighborhood flow and rejuvenate the area's vitality.
