Scala-Mare Building by Atelier d’Arquitectura Lopes da Costa
The Scala-Mare Building, designed by Atelier d’Arquitectura Lopes da Costa, is a 3000 m² apartment complex located on the seafront in Canidelo, Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal. Completed in 2025, the project enjoys excellent sun exposure and sea views, with easy access to Porto. Lead architects José António Lopes da Costa and Tiago Meireles led the design, with collaboration from Rita Gonçalves and Joana Jorge. Engineering was handled by Strumep Engenharia, Lda., landscape design by Mónica Barbosa, and construction by A. Pimenta – Construções, Lda. The building is situated near Canide and Sereia beaches.
