Sayuwon Park's New Visitor Center Gate by liveraniandrea Opens in South Korea

A new visitor center gate at Sayuwon Park in South Korea, designed by the architecture firm liveraniandrea, was completed in 2025. The project, led by Andrea Liverani, covers 140 square meters and was photographed by Yongbaek Lee. Curated by Hadir Al Koshta, the gate is part of a private park that opened to the public in 2020, following an initial concept from chairman Yoo Jaesung in 2013. The park spans 330,000 square meters and requires about three hours to explore fully. It features architectural works by Alvaro Siza, Seung h-sang of IROJE, Wook Choi, Matsunobu Kawagishi, and landscape architect Jung Young-sun, all invited to engage with the natural setting. The general contractor for the gate was IL WON Construction, with technical support from Jee Hong Kim. This addition enhances the park's cultural architecture, which includes visitor centers and other structures integrated into the landscape.
