Franco-Swiss artist Saype created a monumental 310-by-75-foot biodegradable grass mural at Boom Island Park in Minneapolis as the 22nd iteration of his Beyond Walls series, marking its first U.S. appearance. The artwork, depicting clasping arms, was painted in early June 2026 using a biodegradable medium and will gradually fade. Hundreds of residents formed a human chain to show solidarity.
