Savka Marenić's 'Moth on the Window' Transforms Urban Glitches into Spatial Narratives
Savka Marenić's exhibition 'Moth on the Window' opens on 08/07/2026 at 18.00, based on her book 'Whispers of the Valley (Šepoty údolí)' and doctoral research. The project uses the Nusle Valley in Prague as a case study, focusing on the Nusle Bridge and city highway infrastructure. Marenić creates deliberate 'glitches' to reveal hidden urban layers and gaps in planning, employing situated storytelling as spatial intervention and critical pedagogy. The exhibition includes readings, a suburban day camp for children, and contributions from collaborators Pamela (artistic), Bára Růžičková (book design), Jonáš Balcar (sound), Nela Klímová (graphics), curators Nela Klajbanová and Tereza Vinklárková, and architecture by Marenić. Special thanks to Nika Datiashvili, Dominik Lang, Johana Lomová, and Sára Märc.
