Salewski Nater Kretz: Zurich Architecture and Urbanism Studio Founded in 2022

Founded in 2022, Salewski Nater Kretz is an international architecture and urbanism practice headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. Christian Salewski, Christina Nater and Simon Kretz direct the studio, which works across every scale — architectural interventions, urban strategies and master plans, interiors and furniture. Its stated aim is to produce meaningful, beautiful spaces that go beyond mere functionality. The practice's core rests on several commitments: experience intervening in existing contexts and structures, a passion for construction, curiosity about contemporary social and material dynamics, a transscalar and interdisciplinary approach, a track record in research and teaching, and a deep interest in the form, usability and social relevance of public space. The studio's profile appears on the Spanish architecture platform Metalocus, whose author page for the practice carries a date of 20 October 2026.
