Salerno Design Week 2026 Returns with 'Alchimie del Design' Theme

From September 16 to 20, 2026, Salerno will host the second edition of Salerno Design Week, turning the city into a hub for design innovation. This initiative, backed by Confindustria Salerno and supported by the Camera di Commercio di Salerno, enjoys the patronage of Regione Campania, Provincia di Salerno, and Comune di Salerno. The focus of this year's event is on urban regeneration and the preservation of civic and environmental heritage. Under the theme 'Alchimie del Design', curated by Giovanna Basile and Stefania Rinaldi with scientific oversight from Vittoria Marino, the program will showcase 70 designers through exhibitions in both museums and unique locations. The goal is to establish design as a catalyst for sustainable tourism and regional development.
