Sala Robayera expands and opens 'Memoria compartida' exhibition

The Sala Robayera, located in Miengo, Cantabria, has significantly enhanced its exhibition area while also upgrading its lighting, conservation, and display facilities, ushering in a new era for the contemporary art space established in 1989. This expansion coincides with the launch of 'Memoria compartida: Cuaderno de viaje,' an exhibition running until August 2, 2025. It showcases works from the Sala Robayera Collection and the private Colección Los Bragales, owned by Jaime Sordo. Curated by Sordo and Laura Cobo, the exhibit features artists from both collections to reinterpret their artistic journeys. Notable artists include Eduardo Chillida and the late Juan Manuel Puente, who founded the Sala Robayera and passed away in 2025. The collection now boasts nearly 150 pieces, including works by National Prize for Plastic Arts winners.
