RUR Architecture DPC Completes Kaohsiung Port Terminal in Taiwan
The Kaohsiung Port Terminal, designed by RUR Architecture DPC, was completed in 2023 in Lingzhong Village, Taiwan. The 36,880 m² project merges a cruise ship terminal, an office tower, and public space into a single civic infrastructure work. Led by Jesse Reiser and Nanako Umemoto, the design celebrates the critical threshold between the city and the sea. The project was curated by Susanna Moreira for ArchDaily. Local architecture office Fei & Cheng Associates, based in Taipei, collaborated on the project. Photographs were taken by Iwan Baan. The terminal falls under the categories of mixed-use architecture and port infrastructure.
