Rupture and Release at Fort Worth Contemporary Arts Explores Drawing as Embodiment
"Rupture and Release: drawing as an act of embodiment" is currently exhibited at Fort Worth Contemporary Arts until September 25, 2026. This showcase features the talents of artists Anne Allen, Joey Fauerso, and Dorota Borowa. Dallas-based Allen displays chiffon prints, including "Unnatural" (2023–2024) and "Let Me Give You Shelter" (2026). San Antonio's Fauerso contributes videos and sculptures, featuring "Drawing Battles" (2015) and two pieces from her ARCUS residency in Japan. Irish artist Borowa focuses on climate change in her drawings, with "In Search of Presence (Obstructed)" (2026) located in the lobby. Although she was denied entry to the U.S. for installation on August 13, 2026, she aims to visit TCU in September.
