Royal Huisman Unveils Project 410, Set to Become World's Largest Sloop
At the Monaco Yacht Show, Royal Huisman, a Dutch shipyard, introduced Project 410, a remarkable 280-foot sailing yacht that will become the largest sloop globally and rank among the top 10 largest sailing yachts. The aluminum hull is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2024, with the entire construction process spanning two years. In November, the yacht will be relocated to a deepwater site near Amsterdam for its launch and mast installation. CEO Peter Naeyé highlighted the ambition to craft an extraordinary sailing vessel. The hull was designed by Frers Design, while the carbon mast and integrated sailing system were created by Rondal. The interior, aimed at promoting relaxation and a connection to the sea, was designed by Wetzels Brown. Delivery is anticipated in 2026.
