Rosenthal Health Center by kit Translates Village Qualities into Contemporary Care

The Rosenthal Health Center, designed by Swiss architecture firm kit, was completed in 2021 and spans 15,833 square meters. The project consolidates the previously dispersed facilities of the Drei Tannen Foundation under one roof, creating a contemporary environment for care, medical attention, and assisted living. The design translates the spatial qualities of a village into a modern healthcare setting. Key team members include principal architects Andreas Schelling and Thomas Hüttl, with design team members Gianet Traxler and Roman Loretan. Technical support was provided by Lisa Meissner, Christian Neumair, and Janina Wagner. The project involved collaborations with landscape architects parbat, civil engineers afry, electrical engineers maneth stiefel, mechanical engineers basler & hofmann, and other consultants meier-zosso.
