Romain Bernini: "The Stargazers" at Fovéa, Paris, September 5–October 31, 2026

Romain Bernini presents "The Stargazers" at Fovéa in Paris, running from September 5 to October 31, 2026. The exhibition includes the 2026 work "La Voix des Anciens," a detail of which is reproduced courtesy of the artist and Galerie Suzanne Tarasieve, Paris, with photography by Éric Simon. The presentation is framed around the physical and energetic nature of painting: the accompanying text poses the question of whether a painted image is an image at all, answering that it is matter, that it has been energy, and that it involves movements. Bernini's practice is thus positioned in relation to materiality and the forces embedded in the act of painting rather than to purely visual representation. The exhibition takes place at Fovéa in Paris, with the artist represented by Galerie Suzanne Tarasieve, also based in Paris. The 2026 date of "La Voix des Anciens" places the work within the same year as the exhibition, indicating recent production for the show.
