Roland Baldi Architects Unveils Green-Pigmented Concrete Civil Protection Centre in Oris, Italy
The new Civil Protection Centre, designed by Roland Baldi Architects, is located in Oris, a village within Lasa, nestled among the lush slopes of the Venosta Valley. This initiative, overseen by Nina Vuga, covers an area of 1,404 m² and is expected to be finished by 2026. Built using green-pigmented insulating concrete, the facility accommodates the volunteer fire department while making a bold architectural impression. Its monolithic form imparts a strong identity, and the chosen color harmonizes with the natural surroundings. Roland Baldi is the lead architect, with photography by Oskar Da Riz and lighting engineering provided by XAL. This project encompasses Public Architecture, Fire Station, and Sustainability categories.
