Róhe Opens First Retail Store at 77 Mercer Street in SoHo, Manhattan
Dutch womenswear label Róhe has opened its first brick-and-mortar store at 77 Mercer Street in downtown Manhattan. The minimalist boutique, inspired by Amsterdam’s Huis de Vicq, features bespoke woodwork by Dutch DeanWorks, porcelain cups from Japanese brand Time & Style, and collectible design pieces including chairs by Olivier Gagnère and white slipcovered Gervasoni Ghost couches. The front quarter resembles a gallery space where customers are offered tea. The store carries the fall/winter collection, store-exclusive Atelier pieces made in Amsterdam from leftover fabrics, a bridal capsule, the Heritage collection, and accessories such as leather gloves, cloches, and leopard print pillbox hats. A preview of footwear debuting next spring is also available. Róhe launched in 2021 and has gained a strong online presence and wholesale distribution.
