Rodarte Spring 2027 Ready-to-Wear: Mulleavy Sisters Explore Color and Form

other · 2026-10-02

Kate and Laura Mulleavy unveiled their Rodarte Spring 2027 ready-to-wear line, inspired by a Renaissance maiden embellished with both woven and natural flowers. Collaborator Joseph Free designed fresh-cut earrings and a belt to complement the collection. An Empire dress highlighted floral-shaped jewels, while the overall collection concentrated on color and structure. Laura emphasized voluminous sleeves and flowing gowns crafted from lace, tulle, chiffon, and georgette, with floral accents attached to the trains. Bias-cut silk and satin created slip and Empire silhouettes, aligning with a new film version of Sense and Sensibility. The collection also featured pastel hues, velvet ribbons, and ostrich feathers, with numerous dresses showcasing layered lace for added depth.
